Materials used: twine, wood frame, hessian & dried florals.

Wreaths are known as a symbol of an unending circle of life. Their circular shape represents eternity, for it has no beginning and no end.

Wreaths made of blooms, leaves, and foliage, that traditionally indicates honour or celebration. 

In ancient Egypt the wreath was most popular in the form of a chaplet made by sewing flowers to linen bands and tying them around the head. In ancient Greece wreaths, usually made of olive, pine, celery, or palm, were awarded to athletes and poets. Young lovers in ancient Greece hung wreaths on their lovers’ doorways as a sign of affection.
