Terms & Conditions 

Send your enquiry via the contact form (link). List your event date so I can get back to you with availability. 

I will contact you for a consultation and we can discuss your intimate details & desires.  After receiving your quote, you are welcome to request changes or amendments and I will update your quote accordingly.

If you’re satisfied with your quote, simply accept it! A booking date is confirmed after the initial non-refundable 25% payment and upon retrieval of the electronic signature of Designs By Pier’rta terms and conditions. This initial payment will be deducted from your total owing and is strictly non-refundable. The deposit is compensation for work that will be carried out for the quote in the early stages of booking and most importantly secures the services of Designs By Pier’rta for your desired event date. Signing this agreement confirms you have proofread and approved all the details of your event, as well as understood the terms and conditions of Designs By Pier’rta. Once your booking fee is paid, your date is secured, and my work begins!

Your final balance will be due, in full, one month before your event date.

If this invoice is not paid it will result in the cancellation of the booking. 

Changes 

Small changes can be made to your order up until one month from your event date. Once your final balance has been paid, there may be no further changes accepted as this is the cut off for all floral orders. Once the order has been made, it cannot be changed or refunded.

I will contact you one week before your event. I will confirm arrival and delivery times. 

All blooms and foliage are subject to seasonal quality and availability. Designs By Pier’rta will do its best to provide desired bloom types and colours. Unfortunately, Designs By Pier’rta cannot guarantee when working with Mother nature to get exact colours or shades of specific products. Regardless of the availability of specific products, Designs By Pier’rta will always stick to the agreed colour palette and style of floral design, as outlined in our consultation. To ensure the highest quality blooms are used, Design By Pier’rta does reserve the right to substitute any blooms or foliage that fall short of this standard. If needed, a final consultation can be arranged to discuss alternative options.  Refunds will not be given for any minor changes in flower type or appearance. 

Once blooms or designs have been delivered (or collection), you as the client assume all responsibility and care for the products. Any damages to floral designs once in the hands of the clients aren’t liable by Designs By Pier’rta and no refunds will be provided.

Designs By Pier’rta will make every effort to honour the original agreed price quoted, however, amendments or changes to the pricing outlined in the quote provided, may occur in the event of cost changes beyond Design By Pier’rta’s’ control (e.g. national or wholesale bloom prices). Any price increases and recommendations will be formally advised to you in writing via email and provided as soon as possible or at least two weeks prior to your event date.

Cancellation 

Designs By Pier’rta reserves the right to cancel the contract at any time, this would only occur in the unexpected and/or unforeseen weather. If a cancellation by myself occurs within four weeks of your event date, you are entitled to a full refund. 

General Conditions 

Designs By Pier’rta reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service or any contact on the website through which the service is provided, without express written permission by Designs By Pier’rta. 

Installations 

If a client desires Designs By Pier’rta to perform or design any large scale installations; it is the clients responsibility to advise and seek the required permissions of the venue/events manager regarding the scale/placement of all designs. Designs By Pier’rta cannot be held responsible or liable for any instances where work cannot be completed and achieved due to a lack of permission or safety at the venue. Depending on the scale of the design desired, Designs By Pier’rta may advise a site visit for visual understanding of the space, measurements & planning of the design. Please be aware that if a site visit is advised the cost of travel and time will be added into the final quote.

Privacy 

As a business, Designs By Pier’rta respects your privacy. Any names, wedding/event dates, contact details, order information & pricing will be treated with complete privacy. Designs By Pier’rta will not discuss personal information provided with any media representative or release any data unless you give consent to do so. In return, Designs By Pier’rta asks you to do the same and not disclose order and pricing details to anyone without our written consent. 

Weather 

In the instance of extreme weather, Designs By Pier’rta will always put safety first and will follow government advice regarding any event. Despite extreme weather, Designs By Pier’rta will always do the best to provide the service but cannot be held liable for the impact extreme weather conditions have on the ability to safely complete the job. While Designs By Pier’rta will do the best to go above and beyond to work around extreme weather conditions, the business cannot be held responsible for damaged blooms as a result of wild weather.

Varieties of Blooms

During your consultation, I’ll discuss styles, themes, colour palettes and seasonal varieties. It’s important that you’re open and honest about flowers and colours you do and don’t like so I can shape your designs around your desires.

Can you create from an inspo photo?

Designs By Pier’rta loves being inspired and inspiring others, though avoid copying at all costs. Designs By Pier’rta can recreate designs made for previous clients and are happy to create something inspired by a picture of someone else’s work, though Designs By Pier’rta will put own style and vision on it. 

Timelines 

Please allow 3-4 weeks from when you submit your order (depending on your order and whether we have the required materials in stock – if you need something by a particular date please get in touch first to ensure it is possible)
